The work Stilleven Met Schelpjes by Henk Helmantel was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in July 2009. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 14,375.00 44% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Henk Helmantel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Still Life With Fruits And Flowers in December 2015 with an auction result of EUR 73,500.00.

Die Arbeit Stilleven Met Schelpjes von Henk Helmantel wurde im Juli 2009 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 14.375,00 und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henk Helmantel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Still Life With Fruits And Flowers im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 73.500,00.
