In July 2009 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Stilleven In Porselein by Henk Helmantel. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 13,750.00 53% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Henk Helmantel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Still Life With Fruits And Flowers in December 2015 with an auction result of EUR 73,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 53 % übertroffen
Im Juli 2009 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Stilleven In Porselein von Henk Helmantel zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 13.750,00 und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henk Helmantel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Still Life With Fruits And Flowers im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 73.500,00.
