Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A still life with eggs and Roman glass by Henk Helmantel was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 22,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henk Helmantel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Still Life With Fruits And Flowers, which sold at auction in December 2015 for EUR 73,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A still life with eggs and Roman glass von Henk Helmantel kam im Dezember 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 22.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Henk Helmantel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Still Life With Fruits And Flowers beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für EUR 73.500,00 versteigert wurde.
