This artwork by Hendrik Reekers achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in May 2018. In the 19th Century European Paintings auction, the work Dutch Autumnal Flower Still Life sold for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,099.03) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hendrik Reekers achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dahlias, nasturtiums, bourbon roses, poppies, astras and buttercups in a copper ewer with plums, grapes and peaches on a marble ledge in April 2000 with an auction result of GBP 234,750.00 (€ 401,882.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 77 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hendrik Reekers erzielte im Mai 2018 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings wurde die Arbeit Dutch Autumnal Flower Still Life für GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.099,03) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hendrik Reekers erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dahlias, nasturtiums, bourbon roses, poppies, astras and buttercups in a copper ewer with plums, grapes and peaches on a marble ledge im April 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 234.750,00 (€ 401.882,50).
