Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 2,394.00 (€ 2,674.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Henri Knip have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A view of Lake Geneva, with figures at a vineyard in the foreground, the Château de Chillon beyond in May this year with an auction result of USD 22,680.00 (€ 21,287.78).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.394,00 (€ 2.674,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden.
