Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Interior With A Lady And A Gentleman by Hendrick van Steenwijk II was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2018. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,022.87) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hendrick van Steenwijk II achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Saint Jerome In His Study in July 2012 with an auction result of GBP 337,250.00 (€ 429,565.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Interior With A Lady And A Gentleman von Hendrick van Steenwijk II kam im Juli 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.022,87) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hendrick van Steenwijk II erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Saint Jerome In His Study im Juli 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 337.250,00 (€ 429.565,85).
