In the Old Master Paintings and Sculpture auction, the work Interior of a cathedral at night with a priest celebrating Mass sold for USD 11,875.00 (€ 10,573.41) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hendrick van Steenwijk II achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Saint Jerome In His Study in July 2012 with an auction result of GBP 337,250.00 (€ 429,565.85).
