Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Hemendranath Mazumdar was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2007. It changed hands for a price of GBP 21,600.00 (€ 31,785.86) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 18,000.00 – 22,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hemendranath Mazumdar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abhiman (Wounded Vanity) in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 413,750.00 (€ 467,608.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Hemendranath Mazumdar kam im Mai 2007 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 21.600,00 (€ 31.785,86) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 18.000,00 – 22.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hemendranath Mazumdar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abhiman (Wounded Vanity) im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 413.750,00 (€ 467.608,01).
