Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 15,535.00 (€ 15,725.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hemendranath Mazumdar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abhiman (Wounded Vanity) in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 413,750.00 (€ 467,608.01).
