Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2016 Christies in London held the auction First Open | Post-War and Contemporary Art | London, which included the work Pintura Habitada (Inhabited Painting) by Helena Almeida. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,342.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Helena Almeida achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ponto de Fuga (Vanishing Point) in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 75,000.00 (€ 85,136.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion First Open | Post-War and Contemporary Art | London durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pintura Habitada (Inhabited Painting) von Helena Almeida zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.342,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Helena Almeida erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ponto de Fuga (Vanishing Point) im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 75.000,00 (€ 85.136,16).
