Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2013 Sothebys in Beijing held the auction Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art, which included the work Dudu'S Jewelery by He Sen. The »bidding war« ended at CNY 295,000.00 (€ 35,368.31), 18% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by He Sen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cigarettes And Alcohol, which sold at auction in April 2008 for HKD 1,687,500.00 (€ 139,071.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2013 führte Sothebys in Beijing die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dudu'S Jewelery von He Sen zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von CNY 295.000,00 (€ 35.368,31) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von He Sen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cigarettes And Alcohol beobachtet, die im April 2008 für HKD 1.687.500,00 (€ 139.071,33) versteigert wurde.
