Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2007 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art, which included the work Soaring & Holiday No. 2 by He Jian. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 4,370.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by He Jian have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2011 the work Take a Photo as a Souvenir; & Travel was auctioned for HKD 75,000.00 (€ 6,709.10).

Im November 2007 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Soaring & Holiday No. 2 von He Jian zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 4.370,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von He Jian konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2011 die Arbeit Take a Photo as a Souvenir; & Travel für HKD 75.000,00 (€ 6.709,10) versteigert.
