Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chin-ming by He Jian was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art & Asian Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2005. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 26,400.00 (€ 2,749.24) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by He Jian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Take a Photo as a Souvenir; & Travel, which sold at auction in May 2011 for HKD 75,000.00 (€ 6,709.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Chin-ming von He Jian wurde im Mai 2005 in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art & Asian Contemporary Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 26.400,00 (€ 2.749,24) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von He Jian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Take a Photo as a Souvenir; & Travel beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für HKD 75.000,00 (€ 6.709,10) versteigert wurde.
