Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2009 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Lotus Pond by He Jian. The price achieved of HKD 43,750.00 (€ 3,764.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 35,000.00 – 55,000.00. Other works by He Jian have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2011 the work Take a Photo as a Souvenir; & Travel was auctioned for HKD 75,000.00 (€ 6,709.10).

Im November 2009 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lotus Pond von He Jian zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 43.750,00 (€ 3.764,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 35.000,00 – 55.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von He Jian konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2011 die Arbeit Take a Photo as a Souvenir; & Travel für HKD 75.000,00 (€ 6.709,10) versteigert.
