The work Face No. 14 by He Jian was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 3,895.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Other works by He Jian have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2011 the work Take a Photo as a Souvenir; & Travel was auctioned for HKD 75,000.00 (€ 6,709.10).
