Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2019 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Harold Shapinsky for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,403.42). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harold Shapinsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in February 2007 with an auction result of USD 78,000.00 (€ 58,956.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2019 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Harold Shapinsky für GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.403,42) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Harold Shapinsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 78.000,00 (€ 58.956,92).
