A top price for Harold Gaze
In November 2002 Christies in Los Angeles held the auction CALIFORNIA, WESTERN AND AMERICAN PAINTINGS, which included the work Fairies and Bubbles by Harold Gaze. The »bidding war« ended at USD 5,975.00 (€ 6,015.91), 20% above the upper estimate. With this result, Fairies and Bubbles is even the most expensive work of art by Harold Gaze that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2002 führte Christies in Los Angeles die Auktion CALIFORNIA, WESTERN AND AMERICAN PAINTINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fairies and Bubbles von Harold Gaze zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 5.975,00 (€ 6.015,91) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Fairies and Bubbles sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Harold Gaze, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
