Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Harold Ancart was sold in the First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online auction at Christies in London in October last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 15,120.00 (€ 17,614.63). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harold Ancart achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 1,018,500.00 (€ 835,246.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Harold Ancart wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 15.120,00 (€ 17.614,63) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Harold Ancart erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.018.500,00 (€ 835.246,84).
