Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Weaving Studies by Hans Finsler for USD 1,764.00 (€ 1,527.01). This price was achieved in the auction Classic Photographs at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hans Finsler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled, C. 1925 in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 17,086.88).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Weaving Studies von Hans Finsler für USD 1.764,00 (€ 1.527,01) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Classic Photographs bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hans Finsler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled, C. 1925 im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 17.086,88).
