Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2005 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY SCULPTURE, which included the work Girl With Teddy Bear by Hans Bayens. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,360.00. Admittedly, works by Hans Bayens have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Family in May 2011 with an auction result of EUR 13,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2005 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY SCULPTURE durch, in der auch die Arbeit Girl With Teddy Bear von Hans Bayens zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.360,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hans Bayens auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Family im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 13.750,00.
