This artwork by Hans Bayens achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2005. In the 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY SCULPTURE auction, the work A Seated Nude sold for EUR 2,880.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,600.00. Admittedly, works by Hans Bayens have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Family in May 2011 with an auction result of EUR 13,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 80 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hans Bayens erzielte im November 2005 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY SCULPTURE wurde die Arbeit A Seated Nude für EUR 2.880,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.600,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hans Bayens auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Family im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 13.750,00.
