This price was achieved in the auction Lehman Brothers: Artwork and Ephemera at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Hannah Starkey; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Untitled, February, August, October, 1998-1999 sold at auction in April 2006 with the realized price of USD 15,600.00 (€ 12,357.41).
