In April last year Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Bitter Cup by Hannah Bays. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,190.00 (€ 9,766.29), 37% above the upper estimate. Other works by Hannah Bays have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 152,400.00 (€ 17,844.48) in March this year for the work TIME.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 37 % übertroffen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bitter Cup von Hannah Bays zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.190,00 (€ 9.766,29) und damit 37% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Hannah Bays haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 152.400,00 (€ 17.844,48) im März diesen Jahres für die Arbeit TIME beobachtet.
