Auction result misses estimated price range
In March this year a collector was able to acquire the work LOVE by Hannah Bays for HKD 76,200.00 (€ 8,922.24). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale at Phillips in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Hannah Bays have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March this year by the work TIME at HKD 152,400.00 (€ 17,844.48).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit LOVE von Hannah Bays für HKD 76.200,00 (€ 8.922,24) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Hannah Bays wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im März diesen Jahres die Arbeit TIME mit HKD 152.400,00 (€ 17.844,48).
