Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Howling Coyotes by Hamish Fulton was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2020. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 6,971.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hamish Fulton - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled: Day 2, Wales England, Summer 1987, which sold at auction in April 2013 for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,601.15).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 6.971,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Hamish Fulton mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled: Day 2, Wales England, Summer 1987 beobachtet, die im April 2013 für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.601,15) versteigert wurde.
