Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (No. 7) by Haluk Akakçe for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,075.11). This price was achieved in the auction Open House at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Haluk Akakçe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Incubation - Isolation - Transmission in April 2010 with an auction result of GBP 43,250.00 (€ 49,772.29).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (No. 7) von Haluk Akakçe für USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.075,11) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Open House bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Haluk Akakçe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Incubation - Isolation - Transmission im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 43.250,00 (€ 49.772,29).
