In the Land, Sea, Sky: Online Auction auction, the work Breakfast sold for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,028.65) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Haluk Akakçe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Incubation - Isolation - Transmission in April 2010 with an auction result of GBP 43,250.00 (€ 49,772.29).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Haluk Akakçe erzielte im Juni 2020 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Land, Sea, Sky: Online Auction wurde die Arbeit Breakfast für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.028,65) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Haluk Akakçe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Incubation - Isolation - Transmission im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 43.250,00 (€ 49.772,29).
