Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Totem by Hale Aspacio Woodruff was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in April 2012. It achieved a price of USD 46,875.00 (€ 35,433.52), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hale Aspacio Woodruff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Picking Cotton in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 764,000.00 (€ 685,263.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Totem von Hale Aspacio Woodruff kam im April 2012 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 46.875,00 (€ 35.433,52) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hale Aspacio Woodruff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Picking Cotton im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 764.000,00 (€ 685.263,25).
