This artwork by Hale Aspacio Woodruff achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in October 2013. In the Interiors auction, the work Mississippi Landscape sold for USD 18,750.00 (€ 13,792.85) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hale Aspacio Woodruff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Picking Cotton in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 764,000.00 (€ 685,263.25).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Hale Aspacio Woodruff erzielte im Oktober 2013 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Interiors wurde die Arbeit Mississippi Landscape für USD 18.750,00 (€ 13.792,85) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hale Aspacio Woodruff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Picking Cotton im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 764.000,00 (€ 685.263,25).
