Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Hai Bo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. In the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction, the work Bridge (diptych) sold for HKD 237,500.00 (€ 24,673.58) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Hai Bo; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Four Seasons sold at auction in September 2009 with the realized price of GBP 43,250.00 (€ 47,311.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hai Bo erzielte im Mai 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) wurde die Arbeit Bridge (diptych) für HKD 237.500,00 (€ 24.673,58) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Hai Bo; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Four Seasons im September 2009 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 43.250,00 (€ 47.311,89).
