Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled - Pintura MADÍ by Gyula Kosice was auctioned at Phillips in New York in November 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 31,250.00 (€ 29,587.20) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Gyula Kosice have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2007 the work Televisor Hidraulizado 2 was auctioned for USD 73,000.00 (€ 49,700.44).

Die Arbeit Untitled - Pintura MADÍ von Gyula Kosice kam im November 2015 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 31.250,00 (€ 29.587,20) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
