Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work A Winter Landscape With Skaters On A Frozen River And Peasants Collecting Wood by Gysbrecht Leytens for GBP 49,250.00 (€ 60,738.93). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Gysbrecht Leytens have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Winter Landscape With Hunters On A Forest Track And Children Playing On A Frozen River, Villages Beyond in November 2006 with an auction result of EUR 381,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A Winter Landscape With Skaters On A Frozen River And Peasants Collecting Wood von Gysbrecht Leytens für GBP 49.250,00 (€ 60.738,93) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gysbrecht Leytens auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Winter Landscape With Hunters On A Forest Track And Children Playing On A Frozen River, Villages Beyond im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 381.600,00.
