Admittedly, works by Gysbrecht Leytens have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Winter Landscape With Hunters On A Forest Track And Children Playing On A Frozen River, Villages Beyond in November 2006 with an auction result of EUR 381,600.00.

Die Arbeit A Winter Landscape With Figures Gathering Faggots von Gysbrecht Leytens kam im Juli 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 43.917,34) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gysbrecht Leytens auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Winter Landscape With Hunters On A Forest Track And Children Playing On A Frozen River, Villages Beyond im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 381.600,00.
