Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2007 Christies in New York held the auction The House Sale, which included the work Le Trois Pins, Arcachon by Guy Bardone. The price achieved of USD 1,020.00 (€ 743.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Guy Bardone have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in January 2006 with an auction result of USD 4,560.00 (€ 3,750.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2007 führte Christies in New York die Auktion The House Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Trois Pins, Arcachon von Guy Bardone zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.020,00 (€ 743,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guy Bardone auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Januar 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.560,00 (€ 3.750,62).
