In August 2013 Christies in New York held the auction Interiors, which included the work Bai De Syracuse; And A Companion Painting by Guy Bardone. The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,315.40), 46% above the upper estimate. Other works by Guy Bardone have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 4,560.00 (€ 3,750.62) in January 2006 for the work without title.
