This artwork by Guy Bardone achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in March 2011. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Le bocal sur la chaise sold for USD 2,250.00 (€ 1,586.41) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guy Bardone - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in January 2006 for USD 4,560.00 (€ 3,750.62).

Für andere Arbeiten von Guy Bardone mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Januar 2006 für USD 4.560,00 (€ 3.750,62) versteigert wurde.
