Auction result well in line with expectations
The work L'allée grise by Guy Bardone was sold in the British, Continental & Russian Pictures & Prints auction at Christies in London in July 2007. The price achieved of GBP 504.00 (€ 748.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Guy Bardone have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in January 2006 with an auction result of USD 4,560.00 (€ 3,750.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit L'allée grise von Guy Bardone wurde im Juli 2007 in der Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures & Prints bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 504,00 (€ 748,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guy Bardone auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Januar 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.560,00 (€ 3.750,62).
