Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape Batur by Gusti Agung Mangu Putra was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. The price achieved of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 17,524.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gusti Agung Mangu Putra - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sabang Sampai Merauke, which sold at auction in November 2021 for HKD 504,000.00 (€ 56,039.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape Batur von Gusti Agung Mangu Putra wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 17.524,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Gusti Agung Mangu Putra mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sabang Sampai Merauke beobachtet, die im November 2021 für HKD 504.000,00 (€ 56.039,69) versteigert wurde.
