Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Abstraksi Ikan by Gusti Agung Mangu Putra was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2013. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 15,906.93). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gusti Agung Mangu Putra - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sabang Sampai Merauke, which sold at auction in November 2021 for HKD 504,000.00 (€ 56,039.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Abstraksi Ikan von Gusti Agung Mangu Putra kam im April 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 15.906,93) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Gusti Agung Mangu Putra mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sabang Sampai Merauke beobachtet, die im November 2021 für HKD 504.000,00 (€ 56.039,69) versteigert wurde.
