Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Hutan Pinus (Pine Forest) by Gusti Agung Mangu Putra was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 220,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 225,000.00 (€ 25,349.62). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gusti Agung Mangu Putra - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sabang Sampai Merauke, which sold at auction in November 2021 for HKD 504,000.00 (€ 56,039.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Hutan Pinus (Pine Forest) von Gusti Agung Mangu Putra wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 220.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 225.000,00 (€ 25.349,62) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Gusti Agung Mangu Putra mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sabang Sampai Merauke beobachtet, die im November 2021 für HKD 504.000,00 (€ 56.039,69) versteigert wurde.
