In June 2016 VAN HAM held the auction Moderne und Zeitgenössische Kunst, which included the work "Schlafstatt" by Gustav Kluge. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,161.00 45% above the estimate. Admittedly, works by Gustav Kluge have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2013 with an auction result of EUR 10,000.00.
Schätzpreis um 45 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2016 führte VAN HAM die Auktion Moderne und Zeitgenössische Kunst durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Schlafstatt" von Gustav Kluge zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.161,00 und damit 45% über dem Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gustav Kluge auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.000,00.
