Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy by Guo Moruo was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. The price achieved of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 29,419.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Guo Moruo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy In Xingshu in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 2,080,000.00 (€ 214,142.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Guo Moruo wurde im Oktober 2016 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 29.419,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guo Moruo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Xingshu im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.080.000,00 (€ 214.142,06).
