Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy In Running Script by Guo Moruo was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2019. The price achieved of HKD 259,600.00 (€ 29,671.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 220,000.00 – 320,000.00. Admittedly, works by Guo Moruo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy In Xingshu in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 2,080,000.00 (€ 214,142.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script von Guo Moruo kam im Oktober 2019 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 259.600,00 (€ 29.671,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 220.000,00 – 320.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guo Moruo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Xingshu im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.080.000,00 (€ 214.142,06).
