Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Australian Lenz by Gunter Christmann was sold in the Important Australian Art auction at Sothebys in Melbourne in August 2009. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 27,600.00 (€ 16,226.58). Other works by Gunter Christmann have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of AUD 28,680.00 (€ 16,928.26) in March 2006 for the work Heavy Topscape.

Die Arbeit Australian Lenz von Gunter Christmann wurde im August 2009 in der Auktion Important Australian Art bei Sothebys in Melbourne versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 27.600,00 (€ 16.226,58) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Gunter Christmann haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von AUD 28.680,00 (€ 16.928,26) im März 2006 für die Arbeit Heavy Topscape beobachtet.
