Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Rockman by Gunter Christmann was sold in the THE W.R. BURGE COLLECTION auction at Christies in Sydney in March 2006. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 1,314.50 (€ 775.88). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gunter Christmann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Heavy Topscape in March 2006 with an auction result of AUD 28,680.00 (€ 16,928.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Rockman von Gunter Christmann wurde im März 2006 in der Auktion THE W.R. BURGE COLLECTION bei Christies in Sydney versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 1.314,50 (€ 775,88) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gunter Christmann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Heavy Topscape im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 28.680,00 (€ 16.928,26).
