This artwork by Gunter Christmann achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Sydney in March 2006. In the THE W.R. BURGE COLLECTION auction, the work without title sold for AUD 26,290.00 (€ 15,517.58) - well above the upper estimate of AUD 15,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Gunter Christmann; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Heavy Topscape sold at auction in March 2006 with the realized price of AUD 28,680.00 (€ 16,928.26).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Gunter Christmann erzielte im März 2006 bei Christies in Sydney einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion THE W.R. BURGE COLLECTION wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für AUD 26.290,00 (€ 15.517,58) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von AUD 15.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Gunter Christmann; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Heavy Topscape im März 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von AUD 28.680,00 (€ 16.928,26).
