Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Guillermo Kuitca was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2019. The price achieved of USD 37,500.00 (€ 34,032.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guillermo Kuitca achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Diarios (2000-2005) in November last year with an auction result of USD 567,000.00 (€ 549,258.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Guillermo Kuitca kam im November 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 34.032,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guillermo Kuitca erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Diarios (2000-2005) im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 567.000,00 (€ 549.258,94).
