Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work French love'S Muse (Portrait Of Mary Pickford) by Guillaume Seignac. Here, the upper estimate of USD 70,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 75,000.00 (€ 71,009.28). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guillaume Seignac - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work French l'Abandon, which sold at auction in June 2010 for GBP 157,250.00 (€ 191,230.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit French love'S Muse (Portrait Of Mary Pickford) von Guillaume Seignac zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 70.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 75.000,00 (€ 71.009,28) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Guillaume Seignac mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit French l'Abandon beobachtet, die im Juni 2010 für GBP 157.250,00 (€ 191.230,64) versteigert wurde.
