The price achieved of USD 43,750.00 (€ 38,954.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Guillaume Seignac have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French l'Abandon in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 157,250.00 (€ 191,230.64).
