In April 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction European Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture, which included the work Love'S Offering by Guillaume Seignac. The »bidding war« ended at USD 68,750.00 (€ 62,756.73), 72% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guillaume Seignac - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work French l'Abandon, which sold at auction in June 2010 for GBP 157,250.00 (€ 191,230.64).

Im April 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion European Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Love'S Offering von Guillaume Seignac zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 68.750,00 (€ 62.756,73) und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Guillaume Seignac mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit French l'Abandon beobachtet, die im Juni 2010 für GBP 157.250,00 (€ 191.230,64) versteigert wurde.
